I've been filming with Arthur since he started skateboarding in 2013, and we already produced great material back then. In recent years, we've been hitting the streets more, and Arthur continues to impress the skate scene in Rio de Janeiro. His fearless approach to challenges makes his skating fluid and intuitive, inspiring that classic urge to skate after watching his videos!

I joined Gnars in June 2024, and since then, my life has completely changed. I was invited to a project called Lil Gnars to produce all the videos, but I became so interested in the community that I quickly wrote my onboarding and received my first Gnars NFT. Shortly after, I was invited to join the Podmedia group, where I was able to earn money to pursue my work as a videomaker and editor.

I had the chance to travel to Africa, more specifically Uganda, where I spent 17 days filming a documentary called Uganda Connection, which will have its online premiere here soon. I submitted my first proposal for the teaser of the film and edited the documentary in record time (1 month) to be showcased at Devcon in Bangkok, Thailand.

In Thailand, we were able to explore the vast knowledge and connections that Devcon provides and spread the gnarly message even further worldwide. We also had a highly successful experiment with videos and NFTs on Zora, achieving over 2k mints on a single video.

I can only express my gratitude for the valuable expansion of knowledge and the trust the entire group has placed in my work. I hope 2025 will be a year with more self-sustaining actions for this community that we love so much!

This house was our home for a few days, bringing balance, connection, and a ton of fun to our Gnars Crew. At the end of our stay, Will capped it off with a switch heelflip on his nooglesboard, wrapping up our time in Rayong with a bang.

The film showcases the journey of two members of Team Gnars in Uganda and presents the locals' perspective on events and their own skateboarding stories. This work further promotes Gnars' principles for community, amplifying our message and empowering those in Kampala who need tools to bring their ideas to life.

The Gnars team at Climate Skaters Kiteezi, one of the most authentic and important skateparks I've ever experienced. Located in the heart of Kiteezi, this space is not only a hub for skate culture in Africa but also a vital resource for the local community. The skatepark provides young people from the neighborhood with a unique opportunity to express themselves, develop skills, and connect in a safe and inclusive environment. More than just a place to skate, Kiteezi represents hope and transformation, inspiring a new generation of skaters and strengthening the bonds within the community.

The first event we hosted in Uganda was filled with fun, creativity, and the joy of kids receiving brand-new skateboards—plus plenty of pizza! GNARS was present, and several brands from the Brazilian skate scene contributed by donating fresh products. This was all made possible by the Kampala Skateboard Initiative.
