2021 / In 2021, I worked as an assistant to the chief mechanic. The location was in a former factory, but long ago plundered and destroyed, there are ruins, but closer to the point. In the ruins of the building there was a burnt and then rusted car. I asked a question to a driver named Kolya, a very good man, sincere and honest, just the kind of person on whom bosses profit. He told a story about this car, the times when the USSR collapsed, people were not paid wages, people revolted and burnt the foreign car of the plant director, the director himself ran away somewhere with stolen money, and this car remained in ruins. Nobody touched it, nobody scrapped it. One winter night I came and twisted the two doors and loaded them on a sledge and took them to my workshop.
