Everytime I finish a painting I use the garden outside my studio to take pictures. This is a little example <3

This is my drop for Newtro's Onchain Summer. The idea that the team presented was for us to create something related to a "false summer," since the event organized by the superchain seems to be more directed towards and inclusive of those living in the Northern Hemisphere. Meanwhile, those of us living in Latin American countries are participating in the same event, but under different climatic conditions.

My "false summer" proposal comes more from a feeling and longing for warm days, but also from the search for refuge during these days of constant cold due to winter. A warm day, under the sun, beneath the bare trees, eating a tangerine, is something essential where I live. It brings us warmth, nostalgia, peace, and a certain sense of happiness because it is a small thing that many of us seek to escape our surroundings, which can sometimes be hostile. Eating a tangerine under the sun is my way of seeking the kiss of summer while I wait for it to arrive soon.

Another self portrait I did around 2020 almost 2021 I think. I really like this one because it felt like I had more freedom with the technique and not so forced to paint everything in detail. Anyways it's cool.

I always have by my side in my studio a Tachikoma handmade toy that a very dear friend made for me years ago. And I wanted to do a video tutorial to promote my watercolors classes so what you see now is the result of the study done live. I'm very happy to see how good looks and I was missing a little bit paint with my watercolors.

I have a very fancy Canson Mix sketchbook where I use it sometimes to do studies like this where they are a little bit more complex, using reference to study lighting, texture and details. In this case the technique used for this page was with gouache. Any $enjoy tips will be appreciated <3

Celebrating the last season 2 airdrop before entering a new era.

Well... Sadly due to my goldfish memory I don't remember if I paint this around 2018 or 2019. What I do remember it's I did this from life using a mirror and myself as a model to practice color and light, inspired (and still using a lot of his methods) by James Gurney where he encourage to the artists to practice a lot using a simple sketchbook, watercolor or gouache and what u have in front of u from life. No picture or photo reference. This kind of exercise is really fun and helps you a lot to become a good artist.

This is a watercolor self-portrait I did around 2019, if my goldfish memory serves me correctly, I created it just before 2020 began.
