The Shug Monkey is a creature that haunts the streets of Cambridgeshire, England. It has the body of a jet-black shaggy sheepdog and the face of a monkey with staring; luminous eyes. Sometimes it shuffles along on its hind legs and at other times it runs on all fours. For reasons known only to it, it is said to haunt an overgrown and little-used lane called Slough Hill in the parish of West Wratting – although it reportedly has not been sighted anywhere at all since the end of World War 2.
