Fishing is a unique hobby. As a person who had many hobbies when I was a kid, from collecting crown caps to stamps, fishing was one of my hobbies too. I still go to fishing but not as much as I used to between the ages of 14-18. Every weekend during that time, I was somewhere at the banks of Bosphorus. I knew every regular, from different age groups.
Most hobbies are about creating something. In the end you have a result. Fishing is more about the journey. It's about the process. You focus on the activity, not the result. It's about the time spent with yourself.
So you show up, rain or shine.
