what's a starter pack without a self portrait? this collection seemed like the perfect place for this piece!
“xo C” is an artist statement, a self-portrait, and an open letter to my peers in web3. it’s a reflection of my time in this fascinating place we call the web3 space — the amazing possibilities along with the harsh realities.
the music underneath my words comes from my 2013 track, “Toronto,” off my debut EP, Remodel, which i completely self produced on an iPad. the slow build, poignant tone, and multi-instrumental makeup of the track made it a clear choice.
i hope this piece helps you get to know me and get inspired.
sometimes, it’s good to let go. // on a cold January day in Brooklyn, three friends got together and filmed a queer un-love story music video for my song, “No Attachments (You).” it remains my favorite visual to date, and also the first one from a stellar team that would go on to produce much more. if you want to know about Celia Inside, the three-song I Insist EP (which includes this song, “No Attachments (You)”) is a great place to start.
welcome to my starter pack, where instead of painstakingly tweaking mix after mix on song after song, spinning in circles overthinking projects & drops, worrying endlessly that no one will ever see me or my awesome work, i attempt to just… be.
this is the fourth and final piece from my where-do-i-STARTer pack, a wonderful experiment in on-chain storytelling. thanks again to all who made this cohort possible: Songcamp, Zora, Forrest, C.Y., and Bonfire!
i really used to think that i could do it all alone. that enough time and hard work could fill up every empty space. maybe for some people, but not for me. what a blessing to be able to choose love every day. cheers, Sasha, to us, and to much more… collaboration. :)

this is the third piece from my where-do-i-STARTer pack. thank you to Songcamp, Zora, Forrest, C.Y., and Bonfire for making this storytelling cohort happen.
remember when every musician in the web3 space toiled endlessly to come up with a grand project meets DAO meets multimedia, metaversal extravaganza that would surely change the world of music as we know it whilst projecting them into the stratosphere of fame and success? well, i’m kind of still there. that’s how my blog, iridescent wave, was born, and with it, the dream of expanding it far beyond just words on a page. everybody has to start somewhere; here are my early sketches of the elusive perfect wave logo!
welcome to my starter pack, where instead of painstakingly tweaking mix after mix on song after song, spinning in circles overthinking projects & drops, worrying endlessly that no one will ever see me or my awesome work, i attempt to just… be.
this is the second piece from my where-do-i-STARTer pack. stay tuned for more so you can collect them all!
it is my belief that we all need a little bear to love and to hold. and to encourage us to play guitar sometimes.
welcome to my starter pack, where instead of painstakingly tweaking mix after mix on song after song, spinning in circles overthinking projects & drops, worrying endlessly that no one will ever see me or my awesome work, i attempt to just… be.
and nothing sums me up better than a kitty on a guitar, i fear.
this is the first piece from my where-do-i-STARTer pack. stay tuned for a few more so you can collect them all!
